Shipping & Delivery Policy

At EMM's Delicacies (a brand of Muskan Delicacies LLP), we take the utmost care to ensure that every treat reaches you fresh, intact, and beautifully presented. Given the delicate and perishable nature of our products, we follow a carefully managed delivery process using reliable third-party logistics partners.

1. Delivery Slots & Timing

We offer a swift 4-hour delivery window with three convenient daily delivery slots to choose from:

  • Slot 1 (Morning): 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • Slot 2 (Afternoon): 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Slot 3 (Evening): 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

2. Order Placement & Cut-off Times

To ensure everything is baked and decorated fresh, please note our strict ordering deadlines based on product categories:

  • Customizable & Bespoke Cakes: Because custom designs require intricate detailing and significant planning, all customizable cakes must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance of your preferred delivery slot.

  • Standard Orders (Bento Cakes, Desserts, Tea Cakes & Bites, etc.):

    • For Slot 1 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Orders must be placed by 7:00 PM the previous evening.

    • For Slots 2 & 3: Orders must be placed at least 4 hours in advance of the slot's start time on the day of delivery.

Note: If an order is placed after the respective cut-off time, it will automatically be scheduled for the next available delivery window.

3. Order Fulfillment Options

We offer two convenient ways to receive your order:

  • Store Pickup: You may collect your order directly from our store at your scheduled time.

  • Paid Delivery: Doorstep delivery is available via trusted third-party partners. Delivery charges are calculated automatically at checkout.

4. Delivery Partners & Logistics

To maintain efficiency and product safety, we utilize specialized delivery methods based on your order type:

  • Bento Cakes (Approx. 300g), Desserts, Tea Cakes & Bites: Delivered via lightweight courier services such as Porter or Uber Package.

  • Standard & Custom Celebration Cakes: Delivered through cab-based logistics like Uber, Rapido Cabs, Ola, or inDrive, depending on availability and location, to keep them flat and temperature-controlled.

5. Delivery Charges & Service Area

  • Charges: Delivery charges are not included in the product pricing. Final charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on distance from our store, platform-specific pricing, and any applicable surge rates.

  • Service Area: We currently deliver within Gurugram and nearby areas. For locations outside our standard delivery zone, please contact us in advance to check delivery feasibility.

6. Delivery Responsibility & Disclaimer

Once the order is safely handed over to the delivery partner, Muskan Delicacies LLP (EMM's Delicacies) legal responsibility is fulfilled.

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by heavy traffic, severe weather, or platform-related logistics issues.

  • Damage incurred during transit or mishandling by third-party delivery personnel.

Customer Responsibility:

  • Please inspect your treats closely at the time of delivery.

  • Report any visible damage immediately to the delivery partner.

  • If you are sending a treat to someone special as a surprise, please ensure you provide a contact number where they can be reached by our logistics partners. We only send essential delivery updates—never any promotional or pricing details.

7. Important Notes

  • All baked goods are highly perishable and temperature-sensitive; timely receipt is crucial.

  • As larger cake deliveries are handled via cab services, customers are required to collect the order directly from the vehicle (drivers cannot leave their vehicles unattended).

  • EMM's Delicacies reserves the right to reschedule deliveries in rare, unforeseen circumstances, and we will proactively notify you in advance wherever possible.
